In 2001, Jade Group entered the flourishing and highly competetive Information Technology industry by inventing TV Chat and various SMS enabled sofware applications to telecommunications companies: Globe Telecom, Smart Telecommunications Inc and Sun Cellular. These SMS based were broadcast in partnership with over 60 Cable TV operators nationwide to.
Because of the success of the SMS based applications, Jade Group expanded into prepaid load dealership thru financial institutions, Bankard, Citibank, BDO, Unionbank, Megalink and eventually developed stored value card systems used by retail establishments nationwide.
